After that, people often posted their stories. You can find them under 'Stories' Tab on the blog. One day, one of these stories caught my attention and made me think deeply about abortion. A woman writes about her experience of an abortion (or miscarriage) in her 8th month, she was 39 years old back then. She goes to abortion clinic because she doesn't want to carry it to term for personal reasons and because family members are against having kids right now. The back story: She was married and had one kid, a son. I always thought she was a good mother and would love to have another child. After the birth of her son, nothing changed in her life for some time. It changed only when she started working as an artist. She got bored and getting stressed out even before she realised that she wanted to be a freelance artist and stop working as an employee in companies such as ad companies, marketing firms etc. The more she struggled with giving up; the more frustrated she became with work and the lack of freedom it meant compared to art or freelancing. Once she got a chance to quit her boring job, she took it. But she couldn't stop crying because of the sense of loss and guilt about giving up a secure job. She started going to the gym regularly, going to work-outs and even going to pubs. And as her son was still in nursery school, his holiday coming up soon and there was no possibility for him to distract her from all the problems that frustrated her into quitting, she decided that it is better not to have another child for now. At first she said it is only temporary, then she felt guilty about not really caring about a child who could break her heart one day . Finally, she made up her mind and prayed for a miscarriage. She didn't regret by then and it wasn't selfish to not want to go through with an unwanted pregnancy and abortion or worse for that child who might grow up as a monster from being conceived against her will. She had no plan B after the birth of her son, she was afraid to think of what will come after all those struggles. She knew she was putting herself at risk if she wanted an abortion but it was the lesser of two evils. She had committed not to have another child by then but forgot there was also a chance that she would have a miscarriage before that day comes if things were going wrong in the cycle. She could have chosen to give birth to an unwanted child. If the abortion didn't happen in time, she could have given birth to an unwanted child. That thought made her feel even worse. She did not want to even think about it back then, but there was a possibility that she would have carried her own baby but not wanted it, or she would have had a child who would grow up knowing its mother doesn't really love it or care for it because it wasn't wanted. It might be difficult for both the woman and the child. It is easy for people who are young and can take stress better than others to choose abortion, especially if they are surrounded by their supportive family members or close friends. cfa1e77820
